There are permanent attraction, too, including, the Serpentine, Diana Memorial, Children’s Playground, and Speaker’s Corner.
- Abbey Road: if you know of the Beatles, then you will surely know the iconic zebra crossing in Abbey road. Walk in their footsteps and have fun recreating the famous picture.
- Oxford Street: the shopping capital of the shopping capital of the world, Oxford Street (and nearby Regent Street, and Bond Street) is the place to head for all your fashion needs.
- The West End: London is home to the largest theatre district in the world. Here, you will find many of the world’s most famous theatres. The musicals, plays, and performances, are recognised by many as the best in the world, and you will definitely be spoiled for choice.
Where to Eat
Because of its popularity with tourists, there are hundreds of restaurants in the area, each catering to a variety of tastes and budgets. Expect to find culinary delights from all over the world, including North Africa, Japan, China, France, the Caribbean, and, of course, England.
In a rush, there are no shortage of sandwich bars and fast food restaurants, but these places tend to be located on the busier streets, such as Oxford Street.
